Here are some activities you can do during our open hours!
- Visit with the dogs and cats that are available for adoption!
- Volunteer to exercise dogs outside (weather permitting) or in our indoor arena.
- Volunteer to help inside the shelter in other ways, such as cleaning the building and bathing/brushing animals.
When the shelter is closed to the public, we are hard at work attending to all the animals’ needs, health, and other vital tasks essential to shelter upkeep.
The Livingston County Humane Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that relies solely on contributions. Ultimately, the best way to help LCHS is to make a monetary donation. Our existence is only possible through the support of our community.
